Ashok has 20+ years of experience across IT/ITES industries and includes a decade of experience in running large scale US Healthcare Operations. He is an expert at providing management oversight for the development of high quality, cost effective and integrated Clinical Operations. Over the years, he has demonstrated successful leadership in managing and leading multicultural international teams. In his current role, he is responsible for EqualizeRCM India Operations. It involves identifying, driving organizational and cultural changes needed to adapt strategically to changing market demands, technology, and internal initiatives, catalyzing new approaches to improve results by transforming organizational culture, and building to next gen service delivery.
In his last stint with Optum, he was responsible to build, oversee and lead a large-scale global competency team accountable for exceptional Medical Coding operations. With his extensive experience across onshore-offshore delivery models, he was able to set up a successful large-scale payor coding (HCC and HEDIS) practice across India and Philippines. As a result of setting up of the large-scale coding operations, the best-in-class certification academy followed to ensure highly competent and certified coders are graduated on a timely basis to meet the ever-growing demands of the industry.
He earned his Bachelors in Engineering from Bangalore University and has cleared in CPC, CRC certifications awarded by the AAPC. He is also a Certified Six Sigma Lean Green Belt and is ITIL v3 certified.
